Link Online Learners


Created in the midst of the Covid-19 shutdown by a group of innovative, thoughtful, and inspired teachers across the world, Link Online Learners (LOL) is a global space for young people to connect virtually, collaborate on projects, and celebrate national and cultural knowledge. Along with a team of HundrED colleagues, Sarah has worked to develop LOL and the youth virtual chat sessions in order to encourage innovation and social- emotional learning, and give young people a safe space to make friends in a world suffering from isolation.

 

Humanitarian Coaching Network


Humanitarian Coaching Network (HCN) is a platform that connects humanitarian staff with a global cohort of volunteer professional coaches. Its aim is to provide humanitarian and development organizations with an innovative, cost-effective way of supporting the wellbeing and growth of a critical mass of their staff, particularly those serving in the most isolated and complex posts. Alison has been a volunteer with HCN since 2020.

Victoria Philharmonic Choir


Victoria Philharmonic Choir (VPC) is an auditioned, multi-generational ensemble of 80 voices. As they like to say, “While we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we are very serious about the music.” VPC has been part of the arts community in Victoria for over 20 years and has had the opportunity to perform with a variety of orchestras and professional musicians of the highest calibre. HundrED


Elarton Point Strategies is an active member of the HundrED Community. HundrED is a not-for-profit organization committed to collecting, sharing, and celebrating inspiring education-focused innovations from around the world to enhance access to quality K-12 learning opportunities for all young people. As a HundrED Ambassador and Academy member, Sarah contributes to conversations and research, evaluates innovations, and engages regularly with inspiring, innovative educators in communities all around the world

 

Lake Trail Community Education Society


Elarton Point Strategies supports the work of the Lake Trail Community Education Society (LTCES) insert link. Lake Trail Community Education Society is a non-profit organization whose mission is to be a neighbourhood centre accessible to everyone, supporting the community of Lake Trail Community Middle School, its programs, students and families. An integrated focus on lifelong learning, healthy lifestyles, community development and engagement guides the work of the Society for improved learning, stronger families and a healthier community.  Offering a range of services including after school and year-round programming for all ages,  a community garden, and a school lunch program, LTCES is actively engaged in the life of the school and neighbourhood community. Jo-Anne sits on the Board of LTCES.
